"way to exspensive for a treat"

i was happy to recieve these healthy treats to try, as i wanted my boys to find a healthy treat that they will enjoy.
i recieved the celestial chocolate brownie and the banana brownie, the packaging looked appealing as did the brownies, the price was not appealing at £2.95 and i would have to buy 2.
i give one each to my boys and i also tasted a bit of both, the boys did not like them and refused to swallow it, i liked the chocolate but not the banana.
i think this product is nicely packaged and i would have been drawn to buying these because of the healthy ingredients, but after tasting them, would have to give it a miss.

"way out of my price range!"

The packaging was attractive and on 1st appearances the brownies certainly look like a quality product. The ingredients listing emphasised that the ingredients used were both natural and wholesome.

The brownies themselves were very tasty and very moreish. If it wasn't for the outrageous price tag, would definately have been something I would have considered buying again. But as it stands I'm afraid they would be left on the shelf.

"Not something I would buy or try again"

The packaging was nice and would attract me to the product, however I would be put off immediatly by the price - £2.95 is far too high for a snack bar.

I tried the cacao chocolate brownie first which did not taste nice at all. My daughter aged 7 and fiancee also had one bite of the bar and couldn't try anymore. The coconut and banana brownie tasted better but still not nice, perhaps just a little sweeter making it bearable.

I found them both very stodgy, heavy and sickly and was only able to manage a mouthful of each. I had to use mouth wash just to remove the unpleasant taste.

Thank you for the opportunity and I hope others find the product more enjoyable than me.

""Not for me""

I felt the packaging was ok and in line with other "premium" brownines, but the word RAW was off putting and even reading the literature did not want to make me buy this product.

I tried the celestial cacao chocolate brownie and the coconut and banana brownie, and I was not keen. I found them both sickly sweet and was only able to manage a few mouthfuls. They were heavy going and stodgy. I also found them to leave an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth.

I also feel the price is exceptionally high £2.95 for one bar, for that I would choose a healthy sandwich and not snack at all!

However it is nice to see more products on the market for vegans and allegy sufferers, however I feel that it comes with a premium price tag.

This product may be for some people, but not for me thanks.

"Great Idea!"

I tried the celestial cacao and cocobanana brownies and was intrigued by the idea of them being made from all natural, raw ingredients. They're free from wheat and dairy products and contain no refined sugar or additives or preservatives. Some of the ingredients are things I've never heard of - agave nectar and Himalayan salt anyone? - while others are more familiar - nuts, dates, coconut, banana and cacao powder.
It's a great idea to make healthy sweet treats that are also suitable for people with allergies, so full marks for the idea.
OK, now for the taste and texture.
I'm really not a fan of flaked/dessicated coconut and didn't detect much banana flavour but despite this the cocobanana bar was really nice and much lighter in texture than I'd expected!
The celestial cacao actually tasted mostly of date and was very solid and moist but again was much nicer than expected for an unbaked brownie.
The price is very high but that probably reflects the quality and type of ingredients. The only thing missing on the packaging and website is the number of calories, but it's probably lower than normal brownies.
Overall, they are a lovely treat if you're trying to be healthy or have allergies and it's great that a company out there has developed a range of treats that are good for you and taste good, too!

"not to my liking"

ok so here goes the packaging---very well presented i like the idea of showing the product through the wrapper the product looked very tastey!!!!
ok so i opened the brownie and bit into it the initial taste was very nice then afetr a few seconds i didnt liek the brownie at all, in my opinion there was far too much cinnamon in it!!! after i read the bacl of the brownie packet i was very put off trying the second one so i gave it to my partner to try he in fact did like it but could only eat it a couple of bites at a time as he said it was very full on!
even if i did like the brownines i wouldnt buy them as they retail at £2.95 per bar in my opinion this i sway too much i recon the should be priced at arounf a pound each!

"Good value for money"

The packaging of the products is simple with a clear guide of what ingredients are included. At first look the product doesn't look to appealing but the taste soon makes up for that, I tried the celestial cacao and cocabanana. The celestial cacao wasn't as nice as I thought it would of been but on the plus side you could taste all the different favour but it did leave abit of an after taste, the cocobanana was by far my favourite moist and full of favours with the raw coconut flakes on top to give it that final kick to get your taste buds working. I thought at £2.95 for an 90g bar is abit much and im not sure if I would buy it over something cheaper and less healthly.

"something different"

Read through the literature and ingredients list and thought how healthy and beneficial this would be to our diet. At first taste of both i have to say they were not really to my taste but after nibbling on the Celestial Cacso Brownie some more it was quite moorish! My 2 year old loved both and scoffed a few slices so I was glad to give him something so healthy. If this was priced more reaonably I would consider buying it again primarily as a healthy snack for my son. Unfortunately, for the price I could buy a number of snacks or fruit.

"Luxury healthy food"

The packaging of these products are very luxurious and look premium. I must admit seeing 'raw' on the label put me off quite a bit and didnt make them seem very appealing.
Also, reading the information about what was in them didnt appeal either - uncooked vegetables, seeds & sprouted grains etc
Taking all this into account, i tried the chocolate brownie cake and the chocolate, coconut and banana brownie cake.
Firstly, the chocolate brownie cake was very stodgy and i couldnt finish it all in one go, which is very unusual for me! It did taste like a treat and not boring and bland as most healthy snacks are.
The chocolate, coconut and banana brownie cake was definitely my favourite of the two and i dont even like banana! It wasnt as stodgy as the first and it left a nice aftertaste and was very enjoyable.
Cost wise - i would say £2.95 for a 90g snack bar is poor value as if i wanted a healthy treat, i wouldnt imagine i would choose something at this price.
Nevertheless, for people that struggle to find healthy snacks that excite them, i would recommed these to them as it does feel like you are having a naughty treat rather than something which is very beneficial to your health.
