"Every Parent Should Have One"
What can I say, this is such a fabulous idea. I was thrilled when I was told I would be getting the necklace, to be honest it would be what I would pick personally.
Communication was great from start to finish. I received constant emails with updates advising me of every stage my necklace was at.
The kit arrived quickly and it consisted of what looked like 2 dollops of blue tack, one blue and one white. I had to mix the 2 together and get a fingerprint impression of Kayleigh's finger within 4 minutes or it would dry. Kayleigh was very obliging and did as mummy told her (now there’s a first!)
The kit was promptly sent away in the FREEPOST envelope and within days I received my necklace back. It was like Christmas morning, I was so excited when I opened the packet.
Inside was a lovely gift box, which looked very professional. I took a sharp intake of breath when I opened the box, it was fabulous! I was so thrilled and happy. The chain was nice too and I felt it was the right weight for the pendant so I don't need to worry about losing it.
As a working mother, I hate leaving Kayleigh, it's one of the hardest thing a parent has to do. I have been wearing this daily and feel that I am constantly touching it. When my finger goes into Kayleigh's fingerprint indentation, I automatically think of her. So for me, it does what I wanted it to do. I wanted to take a piece of Kayleigh with me to work so that I didn't miss her so much and now all I have to do is touch my necklace and I feel close to her. Soppy? Yeah maybe, but I'm sure other parents will understand what it's like to leave their kids when they don't want to. You never get that time back with your kids so you have to cherish every moment.
Negatives? - Well there is only one for me. It is silver and all my jewellery is gold. So, I have made it into a positive and will go shopping for some nice silver earrings.
This for me is a priceless piece of jewellery to own and I am thrilled to bits with it.

"Wow, I cried when it arrived!"
Tears of joy of course but what an amazing item!
I was very excited when I was chosen to review the fingerprint jewellery necklace. It is a very easy process[well as long as baby is willing..lol] where you are sent some special paper and clear ink wipes. You then print your babies hand or feet prints onto the paper and send them back to be made into a piece of jewellery. You are kept informed right through the process as to what stage your item is at so there is no wondering if your prints arrived back safely or if it is ready to be made yet.
The ten tiny toes necklace costs £79 and for me personally it is wirth every penny. We all know how quickly children grow so to have something so unique from them that will last a life time is amazing. It comes on a lovely chain and the charm itself is extremely good quality. The charm is also printed with the name of your child and their age at the time of prints which I think is a lovely idea. I had the handprints of my youngest done. She is just 3mths so it was tricky to do her prints but the charm I recieved is beautiful. I actually cried when I opened the box and put it on.
I have recieved a lot of comments about the necklace in the 3 days I have been wearing it and I have already put in requests to my husband to get a matching bracelet with the finger prints of my 3 older children on for my birthday and christmas!

"Lovely item but expensive"
Was so pleased to be selected to review this product - a circle charm with my child's footprint on. I have a charm bracelet which the charm is now on!
The concept is a great one - your child's foot/hand/finger print onto a piece of jewellery. Dead easy to do, the pack came with full instructions and basically involved wiping my 12 week old's foot with a dry wipe and then pressing it onto a photographic paper - a black impression of his foot then appeared. Post back in pre-paid envelope and wait for item to arrive! I wouldn't fancy trying to take an impression of a newborn's hand though!
Communication from the company via email was excellent, letting me know how my order was proceeding.
The finished product is lovely (it came with a silver chain which I took off so I could put it on my charm bracelet) and looks great on my charm bracelet.
Downsides (for me) were:
*price £57 which I think is expensive for silver although if you wore as a necklace then I guess it is an OK price
*the chain is came on wasn't particularly nice - looked a bit cheap which spoilt the overall look of the lovely product
