"Great Budget Buy"
I have been using the EZE pushchair with my 1 year old son for the last month or so.
When it arrived I was surprised at how solid it was for something priced so low. You usually find that pushchairs which are suitable for use from birth are priced higher than those suitable from 3 months plus, but that's not the case with the EZE. It also comes with a footmuff & raincover included in the price, which I thought was great, as whenever I've bought pushchairs in the past I have had to pay extra for the footmuff etc.
To be honest, I had never heard of Tippitoes, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The pushchair is easy to put up and down & the hood is quite easy to attach & take off, should you want to. The seat is from newborn, so it goes into a flat lying position with the help of a strap at the back of the seat. This is really easy to use & doesn't disturb a sleeping baby when you lie them back. The leg rest is also adjustable with 2 buttons at the sides, so you can move it up for a child who is lying down or move it down for an upright child. There is a bumper bar at the front which you can have on or take of. I have tried it both ways & it's very easy to attach & remove. The footmuff it comes with is fleece lined & really cosy for those cold winter days. The raincover included is also very easy to attach with the help of a couple of press studs.
The handle height is brilliant. It is not too low but not too high either. I am 5'6" & I can push it well in flats & my fiance who is 6'2" also has no problems pushing it. It is very light to push & the storage basket underneath is a good size. There is a little plastic viewing window in the hood which is perfect to view your baby through & also in the back of the hood is a zipped pocket which is handy for your keys, mobile phone etc.
When folded it is not as light as a stroller, but not too heavy either. It fits well into the boot of my Renault Scenic, but I'm not sure if it would fit as well into smaller cars as it does seem on the long side when folded.
All in all I would definitely recommend this as a fab budget pushchair. It's great value for money considering it can be used from birth (as long as you don't need a travel system). Well done Tippitoes!
