"Lasts longer than you think"
This was essential support during my pregnancy, but I am pleased it is lasting even now when my baby is 3 months old. I use it as a back support when breastfeeding and it also helps support my baby.
During pregnancy it helped have a good night's sleep and it was flexible enough to use when sleeping on the left and on the right sides.

"Wonderful comfort"
The Dreamgenii pillow was a godsend! I was able to lie on my left and feel supported and comfortable. It also made a very good breastfeeding support pillow so I felt like I really had my money's worth.

"Worth the investment - buy early!"
I bought this early on in pregancy as I liked the idea of getting used to sleeping on my left so that the baby would get into a good position for birth. It is a bit expensive so it's worth buying early to get the most out of it! I used it for breastfeeding support too and as a cushion for my little one when he was tiny. I'm convinced I never had any sleep problems in pregancy as a result of using this pillow as it helps support back/bump/hips and is really soft. Only downside is trying to get the covers on - v tricky!

"What a difference"
I bought this pillow when I was around 18 weeks pregnant as I was experiencing a lot of hip pain during the night. I had tried using a standard pillow between my knees and under my hip with no success...ended up in a right pickle trying to get out of bed!
The Dreamgenii is really comfy and doesn't move about. Like other reviewers, I find it equally comfy lying on my right side so that the long bit is to my back although obviously the support isn't so good between the knees in this position.
The back portion of the pillow means you can lie in a sort of half on your back/ half on your side position which I find quite comfy.
I still have hip pain although it is improved and in addition to the DreamGenii I also use a folded duvet on top of the mattress for extra padding.
The only downside of the pillow is it does take up a bit of room and restricts hugs from hubby, although it does give you a bit of a hug itself! Oh and its really difficult to change the pillow case until you get the hang of it!

"GENIIUS!!"
This pillow is a godsend for any pregnant woman who can't sleep. The pillow is shaped to encourage you to lie on your left side which may help the baby into the best birth position and it also supports your back, your belly and your knees so that you don't wake up with aching hips/ back, neck etc.....
I would definitely say this pillow has been a must have for me.
I am looking forward to trying it out as a breastfeeding pillow.

"Brilliant!"
A friend of mine used the dreamgenii pillow and she said it was absolutely brilliant! She slept really well, and she had a pretty easy labour/birth too which apparently the pillow can help. She now uses it for breastfeeding so says it was definitely worth the money and says she'd recommend it to anyone. I've heard of midwives recommending it too so it must be good!

"better products out there"
After waking up several times in the night with awful hip/back/pelvis pain at about 4.5 months pregnant I decided to invest in a Dream Genii after reading lots of good reviews.
I'm disappointed to say it made very little difference to the discomfort. I did however like how it supported my bump!
I persevered for a few months until I bought a wedge cushion from Mothercare (approx £10), initially just to put behind my back in the office but I thought I'd give it a go in bed, under my bump and just put a normal pillow between my legs.
The result = best night's sleep I'd had in ages! Don't get me wrong, it was no miracle cure but this has certainly been a better solution than the Dream Genii!
Incidentally, another lady at my yoga class has had exactly the same experience so perhaps the Dream Genii isn't that great if you're having pelvic/back pain!
Hope that helps and here's to better sleep for all us pregnant ladies!

"Great product"
I've always been a belly or back sleeper which is obviously a no-no during pregnancy, so after trying and failing to support myself with pillows of various sizes in various places, I decided to order a DreamGenii.
Well, I first tried it out as a back support cushion when it arrived as it wasn't yet bedtime (I totally admit that I did want to take up upstairs for a snooze right away!) and it was really comfy. I can tell it'll be great to use when breastfeeding.
Initially when using it as a sleep aid I was a little disappointed. Yes, it was REALLY comfortable to get to sleep with but I still woke up in the middle of the night flat on my back! Hmmmm...
Anyway, I have had my DreamGenii since I was 16/40 and am now almost 22/40 and I'm happy to announce that I am now prevented from rolling onto my back (hooray!) I think I just wasn't big enough to use it before my bump got a bit bigger (I was a size 10/12 pre-pregnancy so had enough room to turn over until I developed a more mammoth belly!)
So... In short :
The positive : Definitely does what it says on the tin!
The negative : Can interfere with cuddles from hubs
The tips : 1) Don't use it until you're a bit bigger.
2) shop around on the web for a better price ( I got mine from www.expressyourselfmums.co.uk for £39.95 including replacement pillow case and free delivery!)
3) I use mine backwards with the long bit behind me. Just as comfy for my bump at the mo, definitely stops me rolling over and gives you the cosy feeling of being 'spooned'!!

"Essential!"
During my last pregnancy I suffered from pubis symphysis disfunction and this pillow was a god send, I don't know what I would have done without it. Until I bought it every night was agony, but this pillow really eased the discomfort. It was great as a breastfeeding support once my son was born too.
My sister is using it now and absolutely loves it too.

"Couldn't live without it!"
I was overweight before I became pregnant, but by 3 months I had already grown a fair bit bigger. I found it really hard to get to sleep and even harder to get comfortable and kept waking throughout the night.
Finally I couldn't take any more & bought the DreamGenii Pillow. It's the best decision I've ever made & I seriously couldn't live without it now.
I'm normally quite a restless sleeper at the best of times, but I now find I hardly move about and tend to sleep throughout the night (I'm now 5 months pregnant).
It's such a simple design, but works perfectly. It is seriously everything you could need. I know of others who have gone for the wedge pillows, but they find them harder to use as their bumps get bigger.
I would honestly recommend this to any mum, whether first or fourth timer!

"makes bedtime so comfortable!"
Ive been using the dreamgeni pillow for a couple of months now and its just so easy and comfortable to use, I wish I had discovered it with my previous pregnancies!
Prior to using the pillow, I was tossing and turning a lot at night, finding it hard to get comfortable in bed with my ever growing bump!
The dreamgenii helps you to have a sound nights sleep by supporting your bump, and preventing any problems caused by lumpy mattresses, it prevents you from rolling about onto your front or back too. It encourages you to sleep in the optimum position for pregnancy, encouraging maximum blood flow to the baby.
The longer part of the pillow is great for stopping my knees from rubbing together and becoming sore from lying on my side.
It is quite bulky, and does require some co-operation from my partner as it does take up half the bed-but hes just glad that Im not waking him contantly during the night anymore by shuffling around so it is worth it!
The dreamgenii can also be used as a nursing support pillow-Im really looking forward to using it for that purpose too and shall let you all know how I get on with that one in a few weeks once baby decides to put in an appearance!
All in all though, as a pregnancy pillow I would certainly recommend it, its simple to use, fantastic quality and its made a massive difference to me sleepwise. It deserves top marks!
