"Arrived too late!!"
I'm afraid my little girl decided to make an appearance a few weeks early so the DVD came a little late! So as I have a newborn baby I haven't had chance to watch the DVD!

"Unique and informative .."
Coming from someone who feels nauseous even thinking about chldbirth, watching this was never going to be easy! Doula aims to highlight exactly what it is that a Doula does, both from the Doula's perspective and that of those they have helped. It shows the help they give pre, during and post birth. The only problem i have is that I still don't actually understand what the purpose of the Doula is ...the families shown on the documentary had midwives, their partners, sometimes parents with them and some had even been through childbirth before. As far as I could tell the role of the Doula just resorted to being a companion to hold hands with and I just don't understand why you would pay for this. Sorry.
The documentary itself was filmed well and was informative, just in this case i don't think it ended up portraying it's message as effectively as i had expected.
