"Indispensable"

When I found out I was pregnant, both my mum and mother-in-law advised me to invest in a towelling apron they had found useful when bathing their babies.

With the arrival of our little bundle, I hadn’t the time to shop around for one so persisted with the towels we had been given. After a few weeks struggling to transfer a slippery baby from bath to changing mat, I was beginning to see their point and decided to invest in the Cuddledry Baby Apron Towel.

This natty product is fairly new on the market and is the brainchild of mums Helen Wooldridge and Polly Marsh who came up with the idea after watching their husbands struggling with their own babies at bathtime.

The apron itself is basically a large towel with a triangle at one corner for the baby’s head and a strap at the top to slip your head through. It is made with unbleached, organic cotton and natural bamboo fibres making it perfectly soft for your baby’s skin. Unlike an apron, it does lack ties to secure around the waist. This means it hangs free and can be a little unwieldy although it does mean the towel is ready to scoop up the baby once on your lap.

At bathtime, I found the apron indispensable. By the end of his dip, my nine-week-old son has usually had enough and is beginning to make his feelings known. This only increases when I lift him out of the bath but with the apron, I was able to put him straight onto my lap and then quickly wrap the towel around him before bringing him up against my chest to comfort him. Once calmed, I could then transfer him to the changing mat for a quick dry down and dress. The neck strap is attached by poppers so it is simple to detach with one hand, freeing yourself from the towel in one swift movement.

As the apron is so luxuriously soft, I did worry it would be difficult to get dry afterwards but happily I found it became almost dry to the touch within minutes.

Although the price tag of £24.99 is a little steep for what is essentially just a towel, the difference it makes to bathtimes I believe makes it worth every penny.

"Makes bath time easier"

I bought one of these before Lottie was born and it is one of the few impulse purchases I have been really pleased with. Although other companies have started to imitate I haven't seen one as good. It is a perfect size and Lottie loves being snuggled up in it after her bath! A real must-have!

"great product!"

The cuddledry apron towel was brilliant. Ella can be very wriggly and it normally takes the 2 of us to get her out of the bath safely. With the cuddledry apron towel she was much easier to lift out of the bath.
The towel was very soft and with the double layers it meant we didn't get wet while lifting her out of the bath. Also by using the cuddledry apron towel and holding Ella close to us, she was already mostly dry by the time she was laid on her changemat.
We have also tried the cuddledry apron towel when swimming with Ella. It is brilliant! We could carry her out of the baths and wrap her warmly - without several towels as we had used previously. She was less upest coming out of the swimming pool, than previous weeks where we had to use 2 or 3 towels to keep her warm. The cuddledry towel has double layers which kept her much warmer, while drying both her and me at the same time. It made swimming much easier, as she was drier, I didn't have to stand around getting cold as long as I had previously. By wrapping Ella in the cuddledry apron towel, she was far warmer than with a normal towel, and therfore a much more contented baby!
This is a must for all families to be used at every bath times and when taking young children swimming.

"A definate must have item"

My son & I love this product. My son is 6wks old & doesnt really like bathtime however it has been so much easier with the cuddle dry baby apron towel. As soon as I wrapped him up in this he stopped screaming & went to sleep. I love how soft, fluffy & thick it is & that i managed to stay dry a must have for any family with a baby. I plan to buy another one as a spare when this one is in the wash.

"cuddledry apron towel"

I was so excited to be chosen to review the cuddle-dry baby apron towel,it sounded like such a good idea.

When the towel arrived there was no extra unneccesary packaging that would be chucked into landfill and i was stunned by the over-all quality of the towel
the towelling is so soft and warm, perfect for babies delicate skin
i couldn't wait to give my 4 week old daughter a bath and i didnt even have to wait for dad to finish work to help me as the towel just pops over your head, leaving you with both hands free to lift baby in and out of the bath safely.
You can adjust the neck hole of the towel using the popper studs to get the most comfortable fit for all sizes.

Bathtime had ended, this is usually the part i dread as its always stressful trying to hold onto your wriggly baby with one hand whilst frantically trying to feel behind your back for where-ever you left the towel...not today!..i know exactly where the towel is,and the good quality thick material makes sure that it is hanging straight, ready for you to lift baby onto your chest and wrap them quickly and snuggly,it even has a hood so that you can dry babys hair in a flash.

Bathtime is less stressful for both the parents and the child when you use the CUDDLEDRY BABY APRON TOWEL.

The towelling is quick to absorb all the moisture but doesnt soak through to your clothes due to the double layering of material.

overall an excellent quality baby towel, the best on the market in my opinion...no household with a child under two should be without one.

CUDDLE-DRY BABY APRON TOWEL...what better excuse for an extra cuddle with your precious bundle at bathtime??
