"i like the cot canopy"
We got a cot canopy in the summer and it works really well for us because the cot was in our room and I didn’t want blackout blinds but the baby was waking up far too early for my liking! We have taken it to inlaws too, it comes in a very small bag so easy to throw in the car. I would say it’s a very useful thing. If you leave the top part un-zipped it’s easy to get the baby in and out.
Im still using it now and Jack is 15 months old, his cot is in our bedroom and without it he wakes up when I put the light on.

"overpriced and hard to assemble"
Arrived in a smallish box and nice canvas bag.
Was easy to unpack but then the difficulties started.
Put it on the cot by myself and was difficult to get it to stretch from one side to the other before attaching the elastic bands under each leg of the cot. Was frustrated by the time it was on therefore I advise 2 person assembly would be easier.
I also found the instructions to be a bit vague and ended up using the picture on the box to help me.
The press buttons on the hanger are very difficult to press in to adjust the height of the hanger.
That said the cot canopy is a good design and looks a bit like a tent on the top of your cot and does make the cot darker for sleep.
The down side is that I found it harder to get the baby in and out of the cot as she is not very light and the canopy narrows the gap I had to get her in and out.It also prevents you using any on top changing units.
I would not have bought this item for the retail price.
