"great!" I chose the eclipse because it was on offer at the time.
It is a sturdy seat which is slightly padded and seems comfortable for the child.
Can be used from 9mths, which is when my children started to use it.
It has a 5point harness. It is fitted using a diagonal belt.
I did find fitting this seat difficault at first, as i wasnt fitting it tightly enough - but with help it seemed easier. You need someone to put all their weight in the seat whilst you tighten the belt and fasten the clip(attached).
I used this seat until my daughter was 3 1/2 - she wasnt at the weight restriction but she is quite tall and her legs were too long for the space that there was.
My son was also out of the seat before time as he was getting his legs trapped between the carseat and passenger seat.
It is a big carseat so not for use in a small car like a mini! We used it in an astra and a vectra and it was ok - but as i said we didnt use it for as long as manufacturers said possible.
I have now got rid of the seat as the straps started to wear through use - but this was due to being in constant use for 5 or more yrs.
Definately a great seat - but wont last as long for tall children. Member review by victoria - mother of 3, 1girl and 2 boys
