"yummy cakes"
My 3 year old son Kai and me had so much fun making the cupcakes. kai loved every minute of it . they were so easy to make and tasted great too. what was great was that the cake cups were included and you only needed water,oil and 2 eggs to make them. kai had great fun stirring the mix and licking the spoon too. so easy to make with children and fun too.This yummy cake mix was worth every penny great value for money. i would recommend this cake mix to all my friends.

"Easy to make but didn't love the taste"
Unfortunately my 13 month old is a bit too young to get properly involved in making these unlike the other reviewers so I probably wasn't the ideal person to receive these to review from that point of view!
However, I made the cupcakes myself & found them easy and quick to make, and it was good that the bun cases were included. Like another reviewer I found the small quantities a bit faffy to measure but they turned out well so it can't have been too hard!
I think this would be good to have in the cupboard if there was ever an urgent need for cakes, as the rest of the ingredients are the kind of things you would usually just have in the cupboard & fridge anyway. However, to be perfectly honest this wasn't really much easier than making my own cupcakes from scratch, & I know Betty Crocker do ready-made chocolate fudge frosting, so if that was included in the pack I think that would make buying the packet mix a bit more worthwhile.
I wasn't crazy about the taste either - I found them a bit synthetic-tasting - I have a friend who makes cupcakes professionally so perhaps I've been spoilt.
If I'm perfectly honest I think it would be almost as easy to make my own cupcakes rather than buy this so I probably wouldn't go out & buy it.

"YUMMMMMY!"
Me & my 21 month old son made these this morning. The instructions are brilliant and they are so easy to make! They come with the bun cases & all you need to add is some milk (for the icing), water, oil and 2 eggs (for the buns). If I was being realllly picky I would say that I found it difficult to measure out the really small amount of liquid needed (30ml, 70ml etc) but this is probably my fault for not having a proper small measuring jug.
The buns were cooked within 15 mins and smelt delicious! Unfortunately we had to wait for them to cool completely before we could put the icing on and the sprinkles. I did turn my back for 1 second & my son had eaten a whole bun and was grinning with approval!
Personally I think that there is far too much sugar in these buns 15g in each bun which is too much for adults and children! But they are absolutely gorgeous, the sponge is light and fluffy & the gooey icing is lovely so a big hit in my house! It is about £1.70 for the mix & makes 11 buns so good value for money too.

"Nicest cakes i've made"
I made these cakes with my 22 month old, the instructions were really clear and the mixture was really easy to mix. My daughter kept eating the mixture and saying yum.
Even though I slightly burnt the tops of the cupcakes they were really moist. We left them to stand before we iced them and the icing went on really easy.
My husband loved eating the cupcakes and could believe how moist they were and he loved the icing.
I would use this mix again as the cakes were so nice.

"Delicious!"
I made these with my 4 year old son Liam and we had a great time and were both surprised and delighted with the results. The instructions were simple, clear and very easy to follow. We had plenty of mixture to bake 12 good size cakes and plenty sprinkles to decorate them with too. Liam really enjoyed helping to stir the mixture, watching the cakes bake-or grow as he called it, through the oven doorand decorating the cakes by himself once they were cooled. The end result were delicious, soft and moist cakes which the whole family enjoyed eating. I would recommend this cake mix as its good value for money and so simple to make.

"Tasted Devine "
My daughter and I had a fun time making the cakes. Great packaging, Simple instructions and lots of cake mix and decorations!
The whole family enjoyed eating the cakes !!
Although this product is expensive in comparison I would reccommend these cakes and purchase again.

"Best cake mix I have used"
I got this out of the cupboard while children were home so got nagged to bake. Luckily i had the oil and Eggs which was needed as extra and me and my 2 girls helped to bake them.
The process in preparing the mixture is very straight forward and easy for the children to join in and help.
They say the mixture makes 10 cupcakes, but we made 12 good size cakes from the mixture and the bowl wasnt completly empty.
Also the icing and sprinkles had plenty to go around the 12 cakes.
My children enjoyed baking these and we were all so shocked at how moist and tasty these cakes were, even the day after too.
They are the best cake mix I have used. So much so that I went to sainsburys to buy another box of these. They were priced at £1.89 and worth every penny.

"Yummy yummy cakes"
Myself and my daughter had a great time making these cakes. The product was very simple to use with clear instructions & even ideas to make the cakes a bit different and unique.
I was very impressed at the amount of mixture that was in the pack as usually you have to be careful that you have enough to fill the cake cases and enough to do the icing but there was plenty with lots leftover.
The packaging and cakes were luxurious and a very yummy treat. Myself, my daughter, grandparents & even my daughter friends absolutely loved eating these cakes!!!
Unfortunately, i am not aware of the retail price but i can honestly say i am sure it is worth the price as this is the best cake mixture pack i have ever used and will definitely be buying them again!
