"Yummy!!!"
My Son is very much like me in the kitchen, I am a chef and hopefully my som is going to follow in my footprints when it comes to cooking.. He wanted to make cakes one day while we were in the supermarket, and I said 'ok, when we get home, etc etc.' He was adament that he wanted to use the betty crocker mix, me being me was not sure and just wanted to make my own.
I thought I would give my son a chance with the said cake mix and purchased it anyway (with a grudge)
What a lot less mess and fuss this was, in a bowl and mix....fan...bloody...tastic. Usuallt the kitchen is covered in flour and sugar, not thia time.
I assumed that the cake would not rise, take nice or even resemble something that looked appertising...boy, was I wrong.
The betty cricker carrot cake mix was delish.....I have since taken to purchaseing the other betty cricker cake mixes and made them all, they are all as wonderful as each other
Well done Betty Crocker, we love you in this house!!!!!

"Great for cooking with children"
I received a Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix, and a tub of chocolate cake cover.
Having moved house and with no cooker, it took a couple of weeks before we could use it!
However, today the children and I used it.
The instructions were very clear. You need to add water, oil and 3 eggs so basic store cupboard items. It mixed well - even by hand as we have no mixer at the moment.
We chose to make fairy cakes and it reported we would get 30- 35. We actually got 41 good sized cakes which was great and they only took 15 minutes to bake.
The ready mixed cake cover is very good - soft so easy for the children to spread and very, very tasty...
We decorated with chocolate buttons but you don't need to add anything.
I actually think if you made a big cake it would be delicious - would make a lovely Birthday cake.
I am not usually a fan of ready mix cake ingredients but these tasted as good as home made so highly recommended here!

"chocolate delight"
Betty Crocker Devil's food cake was so easy to make. Just follow the instructions on the back of the box and hey presto you have made a delicious light and airy chocolate cake.
It can be made even tastier by adding the ready made icing, which has to be purchased seperately for £1.89.
What I liked about the mixture was you had the option of making one large cake which would easily serve 8-12 or individual fairy cakes.
This is not something I would purchase every week but at £1.99 it would be a very cost effective treat now and again.
I would definately recommend this cake mix.

"Chocolate Lover's Cake"
Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake mix ,what more could a Chocolate lover ask for.
This cake is easy to make, and even more yummy with the Rich and Creamy ready to spread icing on, which you purchase seperatly.
Pricing is reasenable, but it not something i'd purchase on a weekly basis just for special occasions, but well worth the £1.99 for the cake mixture and £1.89 for the Rich and Cream ready to Spead Icing.

"Taste Sensation"
This cake mixture was so easy to do. I made cup fairy cakes with the mixture rather than 1 big cake. The cakes were so light & were a hit with my family. I would definately buy the cake mix again. My husband is not a lover of icing but he expecially liked the ready made icing. The cakes were being eaten whilst still warm & they were all eaten within 4 hours of baking. Would recommend this cake mix.

"Chocolate Heaven"
Being a secret chocoholic I can't imagine anything better to taste test than Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake mix. The instructions are very easy to follow even being ably assisted by my youngest little devil and took very little time to prepare.
The rich chocolate sponge would have tasted just as good on its own but with the addition of the Rich and Creamy ready to spread icing the product was as good as any shop bought cake making this an ideal alternative.
Although the cake mix and icing together are a little expensive I would definitely buy this product again for special occasions as it was great fun baking with the kids and achieving a sense of satisfaction at making something truly edible.
A great product for all those budding masterchefs.
