"not what i expected"
My son has never been a fan of baby foods, i've always found it easy to cook from scratch. Testing this product came at a perfect time, we were moving house and they were so convienient. Very easy to use however a few my son wasnt fond of, however he took to the fishermans pie, and liked the pasta dishes. He now eats pasta dishes no problems. They are so easy to use and the fact you dont have to defrost them makes them better in my eyes. I would def recommend this product.

"A mini life saver!"
I've never been a big user of commercially made baby food, excepting a few 'pouches' here and there, so was interested to try these frozen meals which haven't had any 'heat treatment' to keep them fresh.
Well, I can only say they have been a BIG success. We tried all varieties of the Babylicious meals and my (then) 10 month gobbled them all up enthusiastically. I had a little taste of them all and they did taste fully home cooked and packed with good things for small tummmies! There is a really good range from fish pie to risotto, sweet & sour veg to lasagne.
I have since been to Asda to stock up on more of these meals and also bought some of the Kiddylicious meals for my 3 year old - he really likes the fruity curry.
They are not particularly cheap, but do feel of a higher quality to other ranges out there.
So all in all, I really recommend this range of products if you're looking for convenience without the loss of the 'home cooking' feel.

"Very very tasty!"
I'm currently weaning my son Jesse and the Babylicious range is perfect (7months plus). Jesse was born seven weeks early so I am going on his corrected age for weaning. He is also very small for his age. The portion size is for a titch like Jesse very generous! One pot lasts two meals. The fact that this is a frozen range of nutritionally balanced meals, that are really just like home cooked food is great.
Good to have in reserve when you don't have much time to prepare food or just want a night off and very easy to heat up in the microwave. Jesse particularly loved the fishhermans pie dish and the chicken risotto. The only meal that wasn't a hit was the cheesy pasta. I think it was just too thick for him to eat. I did try a spoonful of all of the meals before giving to him and everything is very tasty.
Babylicious just needs to be available in more shops now!! Definitely worth trying.

"Just like homemade"
These Babylicious baby foods are great.
They warm up in minutes so are good if you are in a hurry and still want little one to have a meal that looks smells and tastes homemade! I tried each one when giving to my daughter and they have a lot of flavour and can easily identify what the food should be (something that is often in doubt with jars!).
I would agree with a previous reviewer however that they are definitely for the younger end of the age range as they are quite smooth with only a few lumps in and my 1 year-old is a bit beyond them.
Unfortunately they are also not yet available to buy in any shops around my area but I have bought the snack packs and my daughter likes these too, so hopefully the full range will be available nearer to us soon.

"Best ready meal for babies"
I must say this is the best ready meal I have ever seen. I tried the first pot I opened when feeding my son, I am not sure of the name but it had bits of salmon in it, we ended up finishing the pot together.
My baby would not take jar foods at all, I have always made his food since I weaned him, this tasted so much like what I would make and he ate the whole lot for most of them. He loved some more than others but this was the most he ever had of something mummy did not make.
The pots were very convenient and heats up really quick, 2 minutes to be precise.
I am not sure how they would work if I had to take them with me when going out because they are frozen.
They are a bit expensive but I would pay the extra cost so that my boy can have the best if I have to give him ready meals.
I think mothers need the assurance that they can get something that contains no additives for their babies. In addition, most of the pots were actauly yummy compared to those in most jars.
Older babies, say from 10 months would do better with the toddler's version as the baby ones were a bit too mushy for older babies.
I was going to buy the toddler's one for my baby but couldn't get them online, I woold look out for it when I go instore.
Overall, fantastic concept and great tasting food.

"fab for some but not for us"
these meals were great but my son could not eat them due to allergies. a friend took them off my hands for her son who is the same age as mine. they smelled great when cooking and even tasted great but they had the consistency of some 6 month and 7 month plus jars so still very mushy for nearly 1 year olds. her son ate them no problems and loved the sweet and sour. now her only problem is finding somewhere that stocks it for him. i would say these are suitable up to 7 months not 1 year as stated on the packagin but other than that a great find

"real food for babies!"
Adele is 11 months old and really enjoyed these meals, shes at the stage now where we are stopping giving her jars of baby food and letting her join in with us for family meals. We fed her on the stage 2 babylicious meals, I found them really convenient, they heat up quickly in the microwave and the amount in the pot was the perfect amount for Adele to eat. The meals looked and smelled like real homecooked food- delicious! I think Adeles favorite was the vegetables with cod and parsley sauce, with sweet and sour vegetables with rice coming in at a very close second! she enjoyed all of the meals and I enjoyed letting her try all of those fantastic new tastes for the first time.
All in all, babylicious gets a big thumbs up from us and I think eveyone should try it- its so different from other products on the market and is great quality.

"Excellent"
Well I was very happy with the Kiddylicious food we received, I tried them on both my girls & they both loved them. Lilli is 3 in April but a very fussy eater & Amelia is 16 months and a slightly better eater than her sister.
We tried the spag bol Amelia loved it she ate the lot, I only gave her half the pot thinking she might not eat it all but I had to give her the rest. Lilli was the same she had the Cottage Pie & loved it. Ive bought other makes of cottage pie for the girls in the past and its always ended up in the bin. So was over the moon when Lilli ate it all.
Would def recommend.
My only down side is I cant find them in local supermarkets.
Maybe they will be more readily available in the future.

"kiddylicious..stock up the freezer!!"
well yes, i am happy...my mind is at rest..ive found a readymeal for my little fusspot that he enjoys!
kiddylicious has hit the spot and done the trick in my opinion. Nathan loves the meals - and as a parent, i'll admit they're enviable (yes, i do avoid wasteage lol)
they come in perfect portions and there's such a great variety that he doesn't get bored. i know it sounds like an excuse not to prepare a meal myself but when i get in from a long day at work and i've got a grumpy, fussy, hungry toddler to deal with, these meals are a godsend! plus they're made using ingredients we would use at home so i don't feel any guilt cos i feel confident that he's getting a healthy and balanced meal..
i'm telling all my mummy-mates about this stuff...it's too good to keep a secret!
