This was our second monitor set, as we didn't get on with our first.
We read quite a few product reviews ourselves before settling on this one.
We bought it for £69.99 from Boots but I believe you can get it cheaper elsewhere. We're not disappointed though, it was money well spent. We can hear our baby breathing and hear when he's moving about - but without getting too paranoid!
There are lullabies on the main unit, which can be switched on from the portable unit. The portable unit also has a handy talk button, and a torch (which automatically mutes the unit enabling you to look upon your little one without the feedback).
The portable unit also tells you the temperature in the room where the baby is and you can set an alarm so that it alerts you when it reaches a certain temperature to stop the baby overheating.
Again, money well spent and I'd recommend it.
