"Not sure :s"
I read this book to my 3 year old daughter and if I'm honest, she wasn't very interested in the story or the pictures. She normally likes sitting and listening to a story, but it was hard to get her to sit and listen. My 7 year old son on the other hand really enjoyed it and liked the way the pictures progressed with the boat from his dream growing on Arthur's head. So maybe this is one for older children rather than younger ones. The book was also quite expensive for what it was. But as my son enjoyed it, it's done it's job by capturing his imagination.

"Arthur's Dream Boat"
My 10 year old daughter wanted to read this to my 3 year old son and below follows her review:-
"I like the way when Arthur went up to the adults and siblings everytime he described the boat he added one more description to the boat. I also liked it when he actually appeared in his dream with his mum, dad and brother. Overall though, it was a very strange book with some pages not having much story to them but my brother enjoyed describing the pictures :)!"

"strange story but they enjoyed it"
this is a strange story about a boy who had a dream about a boat which throughout the story was on his head and with each part of the story the boat changed. my son enjoyed it and could read it himself too which he liked, he said he liked the story and thought it was funny although I'm not sure i quite understood it myself!
one thing i would say is it's quite an expensive book.

"Great book with lovely illustrations"
My just turned 3 year old boy loves this book. He usually gets distracted easily but was completely focussed when I was reading this book to him.... listened to every word, think he liked the repetitiveness of it and loved the beautiful pictures. (Not sure I completely understood the story though lol)

"strange book"
I read this to my children and although my 2 year old son wasn't very interested my 5 year old daughter seemed to like it.
It is quite a strange book and very short,I didn't really understand it.
It is about a boy telling the people in his family about a dream he had and the pictures show the boat on his head. then once he has told everyone, everyone is then in his dream (i think) and then it's the end. very strange, maybe i don't understand it because i am not a child.
