"Great book for kids"
My son loves this book and found it very useful for his school project. There are lots of interesting facts about animals and the range of pictures stops it from being boring. Would defiantely recommend for a primary school aged child, particularly if doing a project that involves animals. The book is good value for money also.

"brilliant book of fascinating facts"
This is a superb book and one I would recommend to any parents of children with an interest in animals and conservation.
The book is full of fascinating facts and I learned a lot about level of endangerement in animals myself. I had not realised that there were degree of being endanagered until I read this!
I have 3 daughters of 4,7 and 9 and all were interested on different levels. The youngest loved the pictures particularly were the eldest was fascinated in the threats outlined that animals are encountering from modern society. I think the book is well designed to enable children (and adults)of diferent ages to get from it what they want ... and if bought for a younger child, will grow with them!
I would certainly recommend this as a great gift for any animal loving child and a good book to support environmental learning in the clasroom

This book is very colourful and full of facts from start to finish, my 9 yr old was very interested in all the facts about each animals size, habitat and lifespan he was esp interested in the facts about the polar bear. Priced at £9.99 I think this book is a must buy.
