We're very much a Theme Park loving family although it has to be said that I am not quite as much of a fan of the 'thrill rides' as the rest of them. One go is more than enough for me on anything. I am scared of heights for starters, which doesn't bode well for the roller-coaster rides. Having said that I do kind of enjoy being terrified in a weird way.
Alton Towers is a great day out for young and old alike. We're a family with teenagers and we always have fun but equally the little ones have plenty to do. The park was clean and tidy when we went there last and the loos were well-stocked (a good sign!. Yes ok the cafes aren't very cheap but we take our own sarnies and drinks so it doesn't affect us.
Entrance tickets are expensive but again there are always offers to be found online for 2-for-1s.
