"Ease your conscience!"

I enjoyed parts of this book and read them with my 5 year old daughter, she liked hearing about how we can make little changes that would make a big difference, she now turns off the taps when she's brushing her teeth and tells me off when i don't!.

There are some chapters that i admit to skipping through, as a busy mother of 3 i have neither the time nor the funds to set up a wind turbine in my back garden for example, but there are also lots of useful tips, i enjoyed reading it, we all enjoyed doing 'green' things together after and it makes you feel better knowing you are doing your bit for the planet :)

"not a bad idea "

I found it helpful and at that same time slightly inappropriate i think it would be more suited to someone with kids already rather than a first time expectant mum like myself as although it did have some great ideas its not really what you wanna be thinking about when your biggest concern is how well labour is going to go or how many nappies youu need to stock up on!

it is a great book for mums and dads trying to make a difference but anyone expecting should wait until after youve had the baby!! il probably read it again in a few months when i dont have baby brain!!

"Easy guide to help save the planet"

I was pleasantly suprised by this book. I did think how am I possibly going to be able to read a book with a 7 month old to look after, but it is such an easy read and can be put down and picked up whenever.

The book gives an overall guide on how to be carbon neutral from the little things that everyone can do to putting a wind turbine in your back garden. It gave me a helping nudge to remember to do the little things like turning the tap off when brushing my teeth and keeping saucepan lids on to save cooking time.

The book has a fun cover unlike some carbon neutral reads that look a bit stuffy.

I do believe it is a little overpriced at £8.99 but is well worth a read if you want to help save the planet.
