I gave this book to my 9 year old son. He immediately sat reading it, flicking through the famous people and picking out names he recognised. He read eagerly and would not put the book down! When i asked him about it he enjoyed reading it, found the wording easy to understand. The format of the book is excellent with a mix of bold text and pictures and small facts about each person The book maintained his interest and he took it to school with him to show his teachers.
I feel the book will be an excellent addition to the book shelf and will come in useful for years to come for fact finding and homework.The format of the book was easy to read without being too long and boring, but again without coming across as too young.
A recommended title !
