| Ingredients: |

2 ripe pears
half a pint of apple juice
1 cinnamon stick
A few frozen redcurrants/raspberries
Handful of pumpkin seeds
Spray cream
Red fruit juice such as summer fruits/cranberry
Ice-cream and halloween jelly sweets |

| Method: |
Place the peeled pears, apple juice and cinammon stick in a pan, and simmer for around 20 mins, until the pears are soft
slice a small slither from the bottom of the pears so that they stand up on the plate
continue to boil the apple juice until it becomes a syrup, as you can pour this over the top of the pears.
Place two scoops of ice cream on a plate, and stand the pears in it.
Add the redcurrants into the pears as eyes, and the pumpkin seeds to make a mouth shape.
Spray aerosol cream around the bottom and add the jelly sweets to decorate. |

| The redcurrants should start to release the juice, looking a bit like blood adding to the ghoulish theme! |
