| Boulangere potatoes by cathe |
| Serves: 6 |

| Ingredients: |
|
6 large potatoes, scrubbed and thinly sliced
1 - 2 onions, thinly sliced
3 bay leaves
50g (2oz) butter
600ml (1 pint)vegetable stock |

| Method: |
Preheat oven to 180C
Butter a 1.5 litre shallow dish
Layer potatoes in the dish with onions, bay leaves, dots of butter and seasoning, finishing with a layer of potato
Cover with stock and dot with butter
Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours
Remove foil and bake for a furthur 30 minutes. |

| Use a food processor to slice the potatoes |
