banana cake by
Serves:  4 or more
 
Ingredients: banana cake
4oz butter or margarine (I used Golden Crown)
6oz sugar
2 eggs
2 big bananas
8oz self-raising flour
 
Method:
1.Mash the bananas with a sturdy fork.
2.Cream the butter and sugar together, and mix in the eggs.
3.Mix together the two yellow sludges you now have, and mix in the flour.
4.Scrape into a loaf tin and bake for about 40 minutes at Gas Mark 4/180°C/350°F.
 
Tip:
but when I made it the thing clearly wasn't done in the middle, so I turned the oven down to Mark 2 and left it in for another 30 minutes

Cook Time: 70 mins
