Coleslaw by
Serves:  4
1/4 of a white cabbage - shredded
1 large (2 small) carrot - grated
1 medium onion - halved and finely sliced
mix them all together and stir in mayonnaise to coat all parts.

- instead of mayo, use lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste
- add grated cheese
- use red onion instead of white - makes it more colourful
- add sultanas, seeds or nuts
- use half red and half white cabbage
