| Ingredients: |

175g soft margarine
175g caster sugar
40g cocoa powder
3 tbsp milk
3 medium eggs
150g self-raising flour (sifted)
1 tsp baking powder
3 medium eggs
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence |

| Method: |
1. Add all the ingredients at once. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together using a wooden spoon or electric mixer.
2. Spoon into a lightly greased microwave-safe dish and level the top.
3. Microwave on full power for 7 minutes if you have a 900w microwave. Adjust cooking times to fit your microwave!. Allow the cake to stand for 1 minute. Turn out and allow to cool.
4. Decorate as required. |

| Tip: |
| If you haven't got the time to let the cake cool, then just sprinkle icing sugar on top and serve it warm. If it is cool, split the cake in half and fill with chocolate butter cream icing , then spread some more on top. It tastes really scrummy warm with ice-cream. You can use this cake as a base for a chocolate trifle too. |
