Chalky Teeth in 9 Months

Chalky Teeth in 9 Months

Dr Hap Gill, creator of the Smile Studio is launching a revolutionary new consultation for pregnant women.

Concerned with the increasing number of previously healthy patients who had become susceptible to dental problems and gum disease during their pregnancy, he is launching a new consultation service in order to help and advise patients on how best to take care of their teeth.

There are many key causes for dental problems during pregnancy one of them is gastric reflux which causes the acid to rise from the stomach, bathing the teeth and thus attacking and weakening tooth enamel. Additionally, during gestation the baby takes essential minerals and vitamins from the mother’s body to form their own healthy, strong teeth and bones.

These two factors can result in the teeth weakening and turning to chalk, not to mention the sugars from a regular diet attacking the teeth, decay is the usual result!

Dr Hap Gill offers a unique and innovative consultation, including:
Bullet Laser cavity scanner: machine which can pick up tooth decay when it is a miniscule hole. X-rays are not effective as they pick up problems too late. This machine means patients can avoid a cavity, pain, invasive dentistry and expense.
Bullet Saliva buffering capacity check: This procedure involves checking the ability of YOUR saliva to neutralise acids, which is different for everyone. You can have good saliva, which will not neutralise acids or bad saliva which contains acids which then attack the teeth and weaken them
…and many more benefits!

The price is dependant on findings in the consultation. Generally consultation plus treatment is £350-£600 depending on number of visits.
