Bullet Natasha Kaplinsky has given birth to a baby boy, who is yet to be named, at a London hospital. Her husband, investment banker Justin Bower, whom she married in August 2005, said: 'We're absolutely thrilled.' A spokeswoman for the Five newsreader and former Strictly Come Dancing star said the baby's weight was not yet known.

Bullet Hollywood star Nicole Kidman believes a plunge into the Kununurra waters in the Australian outback may have contributed to her unexpected pregnancy. It was during the production of the soon-to-be-released blockbuster 'Australia', that Miss Kidman fell pregnant with her first child, daughter Sunday Rose. Apparently six other women who worked on her latest epic film also fell pregnant. Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. Someone needs to tell Nicole that swimming isn't what makes you pregnant!

Bullet There really is still a great North/South divide. Research has revealed that Women in the South of England are giving birth 10 years later than those in the North. According to figures from the Office for National Statistics, there is a very definite regional divide in the age at which women are most likely to give birth. A new mum in the south is likely to be in her 30s but women up north are most often in their 20s when they give birth, with the peak childbearing years in the north being between 25 and 29. Fertility rates among women in the south were highest between the ages of 30 to 34.

Bullet Jamie and Jools Oliver are pregnant with their third child but they don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl. A spokesman for the star said: 'Jools is expecting the couple's third child in April. The Olivers are delighted and excited about the news.'

Bullet Drugs taken by millions of men to help depression may affect their fertility. A small number of healthy men given the antidepressant paroxetine for four weeks had far higher levels of sperm with damaged DNA. The results, reported in New Scientist magazine, do not necessarily mean these men would have serious problems becoming a father. Watch this space!

Bullet Spiderman star and working Dad, Tobey Maguire has negotiated a 'family-friendly deal' with Sony, which will allow him to take time off to play with his 22-month-old daughter, Ruby Sweetheart during filming the next two Spider-Man movies. 33-year-old Tobey will star in Spider-Man 4 and 5 but won't have to endure early morning starts nor work evenings. The actor is set to earn $50m for both films, despite his limited working hours. Apparently Sony wasn't keen on writing the time off into his contract until the company chairman, Amy Pascal, got involved and declared six months without family time would not be fair on any parent.

Bullet Naomi Campbell has said she feels ready to have a baby and would dearly love one with the new man in her life, Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, who is a friend of Roman Abramovich. In a recent interview, she said; "I’m not pressuring my partner but I’d love to have a baby. It’s every woman’s dream and I feel that’s a huge part of my life that I’m yet to experience." At the moment, Naomi is very much focused on a project with the Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown, whom she is helping with her charity the White Ribbon Alliance, which campaigns for safe pregnancy and childbirth in the developing world. The campaign points out that every minute, someone in the world dies in pregnancy or childbirth.

Bullet Minnie Driver has given birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles. The actress, who is 38, became a first time mum to Henry Story Driver who was 9lbs 12oz! Minnie still refuses to reveal the father's identity.

Bullet Uma Thurman is rumoured to be pregnant after she ordered several maternity-sized dresses from a posh US boutique. The Kill Bill star, who already has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, got an assistant go shopping for her to buy the clothes

Bullet Tiger Woods has announced that his wife Elin is pregnant again. The 32 year old American golfer said: "I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister. Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late winter." The couple are already the proud parents of one-year-old daughter Sam Alexis, who was born in June last year, the day after Tiger finished second place in the US Open.

Bullet Brazilian toddler survives 30-foot fall because his nappy caught on a metal security spike! Not only did the 18-month-old manage to survive falling from a third-floor window but he also avoided injury from security spikes embedded in the concrete wall below. The toddler's father, 23-year-old said the little boy had climbed onto a sofa underneath the apartment window and then fallen out. Fortunately, rather than plummeting 30 feet to the ground, Caua's fall was interrupted when his nappy caught on a security spike leaving him dangling before eventually falling to the ground.

Bullet Teachers in 2 Liverpool schools will have their work cut out for them in the new term this week. Quads Joel, Reece, Abbey and Megan Diggle will be starting at Bishop Martin's Church of England Primary School, and Stanton Road Primary School will be welcoming Emer, Evan, Conall and Kian O'Hare. Friends Anna O'Hare and Sarah Diggle had their quads within 10 days of each other and both mums have decided their children will be put in the same class as their siblings.

Bullet A baby has been born on The Channel Island of Sark for the first time in 40 years. 23 year old Mum, Gemma Knight was put on a marine ambulance to take her to a Guernsey hospital but gave birth to her daughter Cerys before the boat could set off!
