Bra-Vo for Breastfeeding

Bra-Vo for Breastfeeding
Lumps, bumps, milk stained clothing and clunky nursing bras can make you feel some what less than attractive while you are breastfeeding.

You may be counting the days until you can choose something more glamorous…. when in fact you could be wearing something sexy that boosts your self esteem right now!

But it’s also a serious subject. You also need to be sure you are getting the right “support”.

Properly fitting bras are vital while you are breastfeeding. You could be damaging your milk ducts or tissues around your breast, straining your back or neck, or even affecting your breathing if you don’t have the right cup size and support straps.

If “comfortable” bras mean the same as “granny” styles to you….think again. You can buy the most gorgeous, appealing and even sexy maternity underwear these days – in fabrics and styles to suit all tastes and clothing and at prices to suit all pockets. Clear shoulder straps, organic cotton, larger sizes, ranges that make the most of your “blossoming bosom” (and which make your partner’s day)….…. you name it, you can find it.

And if trudging around the shops with a small baby, dealing with well-meaning but ill-informed sales assistants, makes it all seem a chore, then fear not. Comfortable, attractive and affordable underwear especially designed for women who are breastfeeding is available online.

You can also get good advice and information to help you find just the right product for you via e-mail or telephone. In some parts of the UK it may even be possible to get a free bra fitting from a trained professional in the privacy of your own home.

So remember, while you are looking after baby by breastfeeding, look after your breasts too by investing in purpose-designed bras that give you healthy support and a confidence boost as well.
