wen I got brendan weighed this afternoon he is 17lb 15oz now which is good. Amyway she got me to do another edinborogh scale whichI got a score of 21 on same as my last one. got 19 the time before that. She also said its a total disgrace that the doctor fobbed me off & was basically passing the buck when i went to them for help. She says I have to go back to the drs tomorrow with the scale thingy. I've gotta go anyway for a blood test so will try & be seen at the same time. Maybe now they'll do something. She also said she found it hard to believe that no1 really noticed how low I've been feeling if it started when brendan was only a few weeks old
Im so glad that you were listened to this time. Hopefully they will now help you get back on track. Well done for speaking up again after being fobbed off last time. Sending you hugs.

thanks for your replies. I'm working tomorrow as well but I've already been told I can leave to go for my blood test then go back to work & thats good because the kids will be with the childminder so will be able to talk without monique squeling down my earhole & running riot

Thank f@ck for that! FINALLY!
I know how hard it is to need to talk and not be able to, let alone go to talk and NOT be heard as was your case with the Docs. I am so pleased that you finally have someone to listen to and help you. You really should be proud of yourself for persisting, despite not feeling up to it. Hope you get that appointment soon Claire. xxx

It's National Baby Massage Week 13-18 May, and it's got me fondly reminiscing about the wonderful baby massage classes I took my two boys to when they were tiny.
