Debenhams have a sale on, so as I am looking some summer clothes (shorts and t-shirts) for my holiday, I went there yesterday to grab a bargain. The items they have on sale are all the winter clothes and really 'bad' sizes - like really tiny or really large.
So, of course, all the clothes that I bought are full price!
I got 2 pairs of shorts, one 3/4 length pair of jeans, and about 5 t-shirts.
Nothing in the sale, though.

How annoying I had an email today from Debenhams re the sale. Thought it might be worth a look for my holiday at end of May - obviously not.

You might be lucky enough to get a bargain - don't let me put you off going to look. I just had no luck, and i did see quite a lot of woolly jumpers on the sale rail! But isn't that what sales are for - making way for their new stock and clearing out the old stock?
The clothes I got weren't overly expensive (£20 for the shorts) as they are a good fit and look nice. They are good quality too, so should last a few years (as long as I don't put on any more weight).

I looked online at the sale and saw nothing either.

The summer stuff won't be in the sale until AFTER the summer! We always try and buy the next age up at the sales so we have stuff that fits when the season is right!

Although it does bug the hell out of me on the size front, if the sizes in the sale are the least popular sizes, then surely they'll still be the least popular and won't sell anyway!!

Not always the case. I've picked stuff up from Next, Tesco and Asda before the summer last year (whenever that is - do we have one?)

I often get emails about sales and then when I look online to see If theres anything I fancy for cheap they never have my sizes! There always sold out

At least you have some clothes though for your holiday (Even If they were full price )
