Hi guys just after a little advice from the lovely mummies on here! Alisha is coming up for 5months at the end of December and i'm still breastfeeding, so I'm just wondering when the right time to stop is? I was going to stop at 3months but carried on as she wouldn't have any bottles, but now she will. When do you think is best to stop? As I don't want to be one of these mums who feed their child to the age of 8! lol thanks guys xxxxx

5 months is still quite early and as long as you and she are enjoying it then carry on. I fed my lot till they were all over a year - I stopped between 18 and 22 months if I remember rightly. (It was ages ago.) I would say you can safely carry on for a while longer and not have to worry that you'll still be feeding when they're 8!!
Well done to you! You've done excellent to go that long I only managed 6 weeks with Lewis he was too demanding to keep up with and I was exhausted.
It's pretty much your choice really, when you feel ready to
ty huni! i only managed 5wks with eva as she ruined my boobs but i didnt let tht put me off feeding alisha, Its been hard at times but ive coped lol xxx
I would of loved to go longer but no such luck lol
Aww bless ya huni i know how you feel! Like I said I was the same with Eva! My poor boobies bled with her they were chapped and sore I cried each time I had to feed her! xx
I'd carry on until either litte one decides no more, or that you fee enough is enough! - Either way you'll now which..Aslong as your happy, enjoy it and are still doing well then there is no need to worry 5 months isn't that old so carry on aslong as you want to! - Remember its your personal choice!
