callum wanted a new cup in the shop and chose a pink disney princess tumbler. i got it for him and when we got home his dad was not happy saying he is a boy and i should not be encouraging him to have girls stuff.
i havent got a problem with him having this -the only problem now he is asking lots of questions about boys and girls. who is a girl/boy?
i told him boys have willys and girls have minis but now he wants to see everyones!!!
anyway would you let your little boy have pink girls toys/items??

cole went through this, he would want all kiras pink stuff, dressed in a nurse outfit regularly and loved pink - as soon as he made friends he saw that boys were blue and girls pink etc - i never disencouraged him with the pink - he did it himself!

Charlie loves pink too - have a great pic of him in a pink gillet!! he loves dolls and pushchairs, i think its ok, whats the problem??

mat wouldnt let him out wearing pink but he doesnt see the problem in the house

kira knows a boy that she has known since preschool - he is very feminine! used to wear angel wings and pink all the time - he doesnt so much now but is very at home with the girls, he hates rough play and loves all the girly stuff his mum and dad encourage him

also if a girl wanted a thomas set no-one would bat an eyelid!!!

my nephew is a proper rough and tumble kid, a typical little boy. His favorite colour has been pink since forever and now hes at school he has been teased mercilessly. My husband (who is a mans man) hated seeing my nephew so up set so when we were on holiday he strolled around in a pink t-shirt and made sure my nephew had a picture of him and my nephew while he was wearing it. My nephew was made up and his friends dont tease him now they've seen a grown up man in pink lol! I say why not what does colour matter? I would encourage it all the way and fair play to you for feeling the same!

Its all supposed to be 21st Century accepting most things and such like but people today can be very cruel!

My partner has a 3 year old boy from a previous relationship and wouldn't dare let him near pink. Together we have a 14 month old daughter and when she was younger despite a VERY VERY PINK pram / pushchair people would still ask me if it was a boy or girl?!? At first I found it funny but then I had to smile through gritted teeth.

Janae has the old blue piece of clothing but still quite girly with it too although she is into dolls and more recently cars so will have to buy some for her fairly soon.

Oli has got a pink carseat (not through choice mind you!), i'm not sure about dressing him in pink but certainly don't have anything against it! Good on you xx

Girls can have blue stuff so why can't boys have pink? Grown men wear pink shirts and jumpers (just ask Nigel!!!), so I don't see a problem with it.
