So was at 24 week scan today for the twins and thought I would update all my lovely TBW friends

Babies measuring a little small - but both at similar size so not a big problem. One just over 50%| and other just under. Both girls doing well, and on the pictures were holding hands

However I am a different situation. BP was really high with Ella, and the fact mum has high BP and is borderline diabetic I am a bit of a problem.
First of all midwife who saw me, recognised me. Couldn't place her face, and then we realised I taught her son in the nursery - he is now 13
My BP presented a little high, so got sent to day bed assessment unit. They did a full blood work up and took BP another 4 times. It came down, but now have to travel to hospital next week again to get BP checked. About 15 miles found trip just to get BP checked FFS - could I not go to my GP or local hospital which is other side of my town and has Maternity day assessment unit and scan department. Depending on BP next week they will take the call whether allowed to continue with 4 weekly scans and check up or drop to 2 or even weekly scan and check up. Also to go for glucose test - first thing in morning to return 2 hours later and then again about 2 hours after that. Hmm looks like a full day in hospital for me - hoping they agree to have me scanned and checked by midwife at same time.
So that is where we are
