yes, although i've been quiet on the forum recently, it's as a result of not enough home time!

i'm still on the course and will finally pay my registration fee next Monday [smilie=punk.gif] there's been no success with any help towards Nathan's childcare costs but we've made the decision that as i'm enjoying the course (and not failing so far lol) we'll try our best to suck it up and sort it out ourselves...

there has been one change, tho...i've ended my placement at Nathan's current nursery and gone to his second nursery which we had to leave because they'd put their rates up and Ryan had recently been made redundant (it was 2 years ago so i won't punish you for not remembering all the details! ). i'm in the Baby Room (0-2s) and it'sabsolutely fabulous! the girls who are leading the room are great and they are very inclusive by nature so i'm having a good time there...

i got an A on my Unit 1 assignment which is okay but not brilliant as i only got 74% and i'm awaiting feedback on my Unit 2 assignment which is due mid Feb. i'm currently studying for my Unit 3 exam in March...

i know i'm studying and ultimately qualifying, but the biggest achievement for me is that i'm leaving the house and getting on a bus twice a week... :thumleft:

i'm still looking out for Level 2 books because i can't afford to buy any with no income and no income support  and i'm on the library waiting list for a number of titles already! maybe they'll become available when i don't need them anymore (i recently received a notification that the book on WEANING i'd reserved was waiting for me to collect

so how are you guys and dolls doing?

Lorrie xx

Hiya!!

Sounds like you are doing fabby! Well done you for getting out there and starting something new.

Why dont you put a list of the books you need on the book swap threads? or ask on freecycle?? I'm sure someone might have one you need.

Good luck for the rest of your course xx

Perfectionist much??? An 'A' is an 'A' woman!

I'm really glad you've found something for you Lorrie. (I know that you know what I mean by that). It makes a big difference.

Kudos to you Lorrie! :D
