tbh i think they could have done more with it. I enjoyed the film and did have a tear but was abit disappointed at the end. I wanted to know what happened with the rest of the family especially the dad. But I would recommend every one watch. I guess mikes right and im just difficult to please

I havent seen the film as i read the book a year or so ago and loved it; was afraid the film would ruin it for me, but if you say its good then i may have to have a nosey! i bought the book on an amazon recommendation, not actually knowing what it was about. i was guessing ahead (and guessed pretty much right, but i thought the boys father was someone else at first!) absolutely excellent read.

i can believe its a kids booka s its easy to read, but i wouldnt want danni reading it until she was at least 14! lol. it was too sad! I think amazon recommended it because i noted that i loved the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, my all time favourite book. ever. fact!

I love Curious Incident of the dog in the night time. I work in Special Needs, and I thought it described most of the kids i teach to a tee. Often wondered what some of them were thinking. xx

I am a sucker for watching/buying things on recommendations so i'm straight onto Amazon now to buy Sophies Choice (i've heard what that is about so i'm prepared!) and the Striped Pyjamas book and film!!
