Great news that he's getting the op hun, after such a long wait. 6 months does seem like a long time but you've just gotta keep thinking of how much better it will be for him when it's all finished. It'll be worth it in the end.

I'm sure he will be fine, but it don't stop you worrying - that's a moms job lol

just got to get the school to return my calls now about sorting his education out while he is in recovery
