My friends son is 2 and a half and has Downs Syndrome.He has heart problems associated with the syndrome.He has been worsening lately.He is very lethargic and struggling to do things he used to be able to manage.

His dad just rang to let us no that they have just had an appointment with his heart specialist and they are going to do a big op.Its a repair of the valves in his heart I think.The operation will take 10 hours and there is a 1 in 10 chance he may not survive (90% chance he will though!!)

Please say a prayer for him.He is such an amazing little boy who has the most cheerful disposition.

I hope the operation is soon mate and then you and Freddy can get back on with terrorising the town,love always,Julie xxxxxxxx
