...with numerous compromises!!! Original plan was a joint party with her best friend Scott, then we had Scott's cousin Adam join so it was a triple joint party (all in the same class so no extra kids to add). Then Scott pulled out so it was to be Jaidyn & Adam, yeah that went down like a lead balloon when I told her. She started with I want my own party etc etc. Reason for a joint one was to save money, so no her own party was not going to happen before the summer, it would have to wait until August, lead balloon again! Anyway long story short, managed to get her to agree to a joint party with Adam, but they must have their own cakes, be sung Happy Birthday individually and have their own party bags! Whatever you want my child Oh and it could still be a triple party as Scott's mum is trying to persuade him it's a good idea! They're only turning 6, it's not meant to be this hard!!!

LMAO Well I tried to have joint parties for my 3 - I thought it was a great idea, a 6th, 9th and 11th at the same time they were having none of it! so 3 seperate parties it is then! 1 in june and the other 2 on the same day in july kids!!
Just booked Lauren's for next month. She wanted a bouncy castle in the garden, but at the moment with the weather my garden is water logged & no guarantees I'll be able to sort it in time so have booked a local sports hall with bouncy castle inside. She has invited ALL her class, already have had 9 say they can't make it due to holidays etc so hopefully won't actually be too many kids there lol
Good luck with your party, Lauren will be 6 as well so I know just how you feel!
I think im quite lucky in a way then as my eldest will be 8 in November and he hasnt had a birthday party of his own. He has shared his birthday at the youth club he goes to where they have a cake each. But he has never asked for his own one so he has never got one and we do ask him but he just isnt bothered which has saved us money
