and he LOVED it!!!!
we got his info pack from the school last week giving us a full schedule of the process - dates to note, where to buy uniforms, school policies, etc...they are very thorough, i must say! today, they had four of the new intake playing alongside some of the nursery children who he'll be in Reception Class with and it was wonderful to see! the teachers were all popping in to meet the kids and the parents during the morning session so they made a good first impression on us
both Ryan and i were there and we med the Headmaster and Deputy Head and had a lovely tour of the building...we've got to go back for his Reception induction on 14th July where he'll be in the Reception class and he'll meet his new teacher! wow! there's also a home visit the first week of September...exciting times ahead! woot woot!!!!
p.s. we had a tour of the kitchen and we met the cook...she's lovely, smiley and bubbly! they prepare a choice of 3 hot meals, a variety of sandwiches as well as pasta and salads every day and it's FREE in our borough! hooray!!!! did i mention that everything smelled heavenly and LOOKED appetizing? well, i should have...
