big thing in the news so though i would ask what your views are on it?

if the vaccine comes into play are you going to let your children have it?

i personally dont like all the new info about it having bad side effects on children, what do you think??

I'm inclined to say yes but would need to read up more about it. My understanding at the moment is that there is some advice that the side effects of the vaccination may be worse than the flu for children 1 year and above and, as Theo will be below that, I would be inclined to get it for him. Flu vaccines have generally been tested over the years and have got a lot safer since the problems in America in the 70s. I will be commuting into London and the chances of coming into contact with someone who is sick will be relatively high....

Interested in hearing others views!

Yes, I would let him have it. Obviously I would have to know more about it to make a completely informed decision, but in general even if it did have side effects, as long as they were not dangerous, I would let him have it as swine flu can be fatal as we know

Im not fully read up on it yet but I will probably let mine have the vaccine as I felt really ill when I had suspected swine flu and I dont want the little ones to go through the same.

Yeah I would be going with the tamiflu too - I know quite a few people who have had it with no side affects so I think that out weighs the risk of them becoming seriously ill with Swine Flu
