:( Quite sad really... Perry only has 1 feed before bed at night now. He's sleeping through so that feed has stopped & he falls asleep on his own during the day. Well who am I kidding?! He goes up awake & goes to sleep on his own after that feed now! :cry:

So what do I do? Give in (I DONT WANT TO!) or keep giving him this one feed till he's old enough to move onto cows milk?

My little man is growing up...

I never wanted to stop b/f Lewis but after 6 weeks I had to, I was drained, not making enough milk and Lewis was getting more and more unsettled.

In the end I had to just give it- I was gutted but it had to be done!

Its horrible but sometimes you've just got to do whatever is best :)

How old is your little one?

My youngest Lola, did this a month back, shes 1 in november and has completely given me up, i was sad, but now im over the shock of her sudden independence im happy that she made the decision not me!

Aww, it is sad whan you have to stop :( Wish I could've carried on with Zac but my hernia made it impossible!

If I were you I think i'd try to keep going until he can have the cows milk (making up the bottles is a nightmare & costly too!), but if he won't take the breast any more I suppose you will have to do formula until he can have cows milk cos they are still supposed to have 1 pint of milk a day until they're 1.

I can't believe how quickly the time's gone! Zac is only a week younger than Perry & he is getting to be a lot more independant now. Even more sad cos I know he's my last :(

I cant see myself having any more kids either. I know people say never say never, but in all honesty Ive only ever wanted 1 child. So I think Lewis will be my first and last :)
