Desperately trying to find one of these soft boy dolls originally from sainsburys in 2007. It's my nearly 4 year olds absolute favourite toy and we lost it yesterday in tesco (bury). No sign and not handed in. Don't know who's in a worse state, me or him! Can anyone please help? Thanks for looking!

I can sympathise with you hun, my 4 year old lost her comfort toy the other week in East Kilbride town centre, we were lucky that a cleaner with a brain found it and had stuck it on her trolley and was taking it to the information desk when we saw it. Another cleaner so could have so easily just chucked it in the bin.
I hope you can find a replacement hun x

Having a picture and a paragraph in the local paper on Thursday so hopefully someone will see it and return it to us. My little boy just looks so sad when he's asking for him, it's breaking my heart. This is definitely my worst parenting experience so far. Nomatter how much I want to, I just can't put it right for him!

Poor wee soul, hope someone has taken it home and he gets it back.
If he doesn't, maybe make up a story about a baby needing it because he's a big boy now and maybe he'd like to have a new big boy cuddly to be his friend. Disney Store has a whole load of new Cars cuddlies that he might like.
Nothing worse than not being able to turn back time and change things.

We've got a replacement!!!

No joy finding the original unfortunately, though I'll keep looking, but I found a mum on another forum that had a spare and she very kindly posted it to us.

My LO knows it isn't his original. He could tell straight away (his was a bit squashed and worn in places) but he's taken to this one quite quickly and he plays with it and cuddles it in bed. He's brightened up a lot in himself too, thank goodness!

I'm going to keep looking for another as a spare incase the worst happens again, but I've made a 'harness' for this one to attach it to my LO's clothes so hopefully it won't get dropped!
