well i'm disturbed...

i've always thought that Peppa Pig was cool for Nathan to watch (with the exception of the word 'naughty' which we don't use) until tonight's episode when the family were on a nature trail and they followed bird footprints...they saw three little birds in the nest and the mummy bird gave them a worm to eat...all good stuff so far, right?

well then Peppa looked through Daddy Pig's binoculars and saw the birds eating the worm and exclaimed "that's disgusting!!" and Mummy and Daddy Pig just laughed!!

why didn't one of them explain that's what birds eat?!?!?!

i swear, if Nathan starts repeating that he's gonna get thumped! [smilie=2guns.gif]

i'm seriously having doubts about the show now...

i know!!!!!

but i think they really need to think about the message she's sending to so many children! i've told Nathan he's not allowed to use any words he can't spell...

i think this might buy me some time... 8)

I was talking about this to a teacher in my school about this the other day. We both agreed how programmes nowadays for kids are pretty naff. We both agreed how much we used to love the Tweenies for kids. They weren't always perfectly behaved, but would be seen to get into trouble for bad behaviour, plus had lots of messages to the kids about manners, sharing etc.
Think we should start a campaign bring back the Tweenies hehehehe. Much better than In the Night Garden that Ella loves. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate it. Now everytime I hear "Someone's Not in Bed, Who's not in Bed? Iggle Piggle's not in bed" I want to scream. But then I think of the clip on You tube about that scene. Seriously search for it, sooooooooooo funny! That's all I am going to say
xx

We got 3 of the peppa pig books free thru the mullar little stars offer & I think that the books are quite rubbish! There is a nature trail one, a sports day one & an old chair one & the sports day one is terrible! Really bad stories with no morals!x
