a few weeks ago we found out that my step moms dad has lung cancer. He had more tests done & found out yesterday that it is terminal. All they can do for him is manage it with chemo. I'm gutted he really dont deserve this & his poor wife they've been married for over 50yrs & i really dont no wat she'll do without him. Its such a shame

It's horrible isn't it - I Know. My Dad, who is 75, had a lung removed because of lung cancer nearly 3 years ago. He had a heart attack and then they discovered during tests he had lung cancer so it was an awful time. He really is a shadow of his former self but still alive so it doesn't always have to be doom and gloom straight away.
Love and Hugs

Im so sorry to hear that, my nan died of lung cancer a few years ago, so horrible. Her and her husband my grandad had been together over 50 years too, he died about 6 months after she did, Im pretty sure once she had gone he just wanted to be with her.

I hope they manage it well for him.
