Hi everyone, I've put a couple of posts on here but they keep disappearing to the bottom and not getting any attention.

I'm noticing this is quite a community of you which is great for all you girls but I really joined here to talk to people about problems with conception, I've had a tiny bit of feedback which has been gratefully received. If you think this isn't the right site for me then is there any more you might suggest where more forums discuss fertility issues?

For those that I haven't spoke to, I've been TTC for over a year and after tips and experiences from other who are in or have been in the same situation

Thanks all xoxo

I think the problem is hun, that the people who are in your postion sometimes get that fed up that they go away for a little while, for some time & space to think. We did have a lady on here who has been through the tests tec but I haven't seen her about for a while. Hopefully someone in the same position as you will see this & post, maybe a new member or someone who hasn't spoken on the forums before.

Good luck with ttc hun xxx

Hello and Welcome!
I am Vickie, mummy to Rohan aged 2

I am not sure exactly what your fertility issues are, but I thought maybe I could let you know about me and hopefully it might help you a bit.
I was 29 when I had my lovely boy, but I have Polycystic ovaries and endometriosis. This caused no end of fertility probs and I have had blood tests, scans, a small op, 2 laparoscopies, and a hysterosalpingogram (where they put dye up into your uterus to see if it spills out into your fallopian tubes - to check for blockages).
My hubby had tests too, but Thankfully he was fine.

After all our tests, we were prescribed Clomid or "clomifene citrate" to give it its correct title. Basically this drug inhibits some hormones to "trick" your body into thinking it needs to make more Luteneising hormone and follicle stimulating hormone, so essentially it makes you ovulate. We were very lucky that it worked first time and we were blessed with our beautiful little "toad" Rohan

you dont say what your fertility issues are hon, if indeed you have been seeing a doctor etc, but I just wanted you to know that I understand how utterly frustrating it is and how helpless you feel.
If you need to chat or want any help, please post back or PM me. I will be glad to help if I can x

I was talking to a woman in work yesterday (she is a customer) and she was asking me what I had had. She told me she had 7 year old triplets and a 5 year old. All boys. She tried for 5 years for her first, but had to get fertility treatment, then conceived her 4th naturally and unexepectly. She had 4 children under 2 1/2 at one stage!

I can sympathise chick.
We tried for over a year to get Ella, things were made much worse by my very erratic periods. 6 months after coming off the pill, I started bleeding for up to 3 weeks, stopping for a week and then starting another period again. I was miserable, that coupled with the immense pain, I actually passed out several times ( in the gym especially) due to it all. We had done all the home fertility tests, and as a last resort paid privately to get me checked out. I got a laproscopy just to see what was going on with my periods, and straight away I fell pregnant.
Hopefuly you get it all sorted soon
xx
