Such sad news & got me a bit worried now. Looks as though the hospital didn't deal with the case as best as they could have though. Poor little girl :( Really feel for the family :cry:

That is so sad. Looking at the family photo, it could be anyone. I hate it when they say in cases that the child had an underlying health problem, as Christine has asthma, yet when they say it, it seems to make it sound as if it doesn't really matter.
I know this child didn't have anything else wrong with her - it just shows how hard it knocks the patient down.

I think it just seems more shocking when there is no underlying health problem because the kids without the underlying health problems are no longer eligible for the vaccine. That's why it is more worrying to me. I don't think it's any more or less sad or important. Every child's death is a tragedy :(

Yes it is more shocking. It just shows how bad this swine flu is. I would like all my children to get the immusisation, but only Christine can get it.
