Still loving my placement

loads more hugs today, even one off one of the boys lol.
Plus did some new activities - was basically in charge of a group of 5 kids today while I took them outside to study mini-beasts. Wasn't completely alone (we are told we should never be left alone with the children, for obvious reasons) as a support teacher was with us but her main priority was a special needs child, so it was basically down to me. I felt it went really well and I think the kids enjoyed

We are slowly being fed college work, still not enough for my liking BUT next week is our last week before 1/2 term so we may be set more before then.
And we should be meeting our assessor so i'm assuming she'll start coming out to visit us on placement after the 1/2 term holiday - although nothing is very clear if i'm honest so i'm just going with the flow and doing what I can on placement.
I'm also learning so much off my own steam through trial and error. If I do an activity with a group and I feel it doesn't go very well (perhaps i'll try to be more one to one with the kids but it gets a bit hectic) i'll then try different tack with the next group, most of the time it works out better. I'm surprising myself with how i'm handling them - whether what i'm doing it right I don't know as i've not yet had any feedback, but I hope i'm on the right track.
So far, so good
