twice a week we have compulsory Squadron PT. Not a problem, I am used to it and I usually go to the gym 4-5 times a week anyway. However, today was horrible. We only did the average 4 miles we usually do, but it was already 29 degrees this morning at 8am, and halfway round I though i was gonna pass out. Possibly due to having had no breakfast and not enough water I should know better.

If God wanted me to run, he wouldn't have invented cars!!!! It is truly the work of the devil hehehehehe If truth be told I have started running - only cos I am bored with the classes at the gym and needed something to kick start weight loss and toning again. Most I can manage is about 1.8km xx

I used to run 3-4 miles everyday on the treadmill for 3 weeks when I was staying at the MIL's last year. I think I ended up doing it in 40 minutes and burning off around 100 calories per mile. I toned up so quickly it was rediculous, but felt so good! However, running on the treadmill is completely different to doing it for real. I'd much rather do it in the comfort of my own home, listening to my music, especially in this heat! I don't envy you at all Vicki!
