Help needed!!!

My hubby bought a pair of shoes off Ebay, they didn't fit so returned them (at our cost) and although they refunded the cost of the shoes they never refunded the original postage cost. So I'm now just under £10 down on a pair of shoes that I've returned. The seller is £5 up as they haven't refunded the postage cost and have the shoes back to sell again.

Where do I stand? Should they refund the original postage cost?

im not sure hun i know if theres a fault with the item you get all but return postage back not sure on items that dont fit though
hope someone can help you out

Hi hun,why not go on the forums ebay have and see if someone has had a similar issue? They have alsorts of discussions about this sort of thing,there's bound to be a post on there. x Hope you get it sorted x

Return P&P costs

Sellers specify return postage information such as who’s paying for return shipping and their return shipping address in their return policy. You should read their return policy carefully, before returning an item.

In general, the seller is obliged to pay for the return shipping unless they have specifically provided, within their returns policy, that they require the buyer to pay for it. Learn more about return postage costs and your legal rights and obligation.

If you have to pay for the return shipping costs, learn more about how to calculate postage costs.

hun this happened to me a week ago with boots i bought for k, i had to return them twice because the silly woman posted them back to me instead of refunding me!!

I emailed her, she refunded me the 2nd postage - but the first was stated in the listing that returns are at buyers cost.

thats the shame with buying stuff off ebay!
