Hi there, I'm 24 weeks pregnant & can't find any decent maternity sportswear anywhere! All I can find are yoga pants which are a bit hot for the gym in summer, & fairly flimsy tops which either have built-in bras which don't provide enough support, or are made out of non-breathable fabric.
Does anyone have any ideas?? All I want are some decent shorts & sports tops made from the same breathable material as normal sportswear!
when i was preg i got all maternity clothes out of calougue but theres a shop called peacocks they have started a brilliant maternity bit they have fab clothes x
Thank for that! I still can't find anything in the breathable fabric you can get for normal sportswear - Adidas climacool & all that good stuff - definitely a gap in the market I think!
Good tip about Peacocks too - I didn't know they did maternity wear & its so reasonable compared to a lot of places!
You can use other maternity cloth just adviced in previouse replies.. But If u want maternity sportswear only, then try this site, they give free shipping also http://www.bodypost.com I think you will find it there definitely..

During both my pregnancies I wore yoga pants (have trouble getting trousers as it is at 36 inch legs) and a cheapy vest top from Asda or Primark. I always wear Primark sportsbras anyway, so just bought the bigger size. With the vest tops I bought a size bigger than I was - so bought the 14, and stretched them. And when I had given birth they went in the bin. This time round I also wore hubby's t-shirts ( ones made of same material as football tops from Sports Soccer so only cost about £5) as couldn't fit into anything else. The gym I used, was a school gym hall with no air conditioning and windows that weren't allowed to open. I was doing Body combat which sold out ( over 40 folk in the class) every week and it was like a sauna, but the vest top was enough. And was cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx
hi I was doing yoga during my pregnancy and my normal gym clothes were quite comfy till the 23th week of pregnancy. The problem after that was that my belly kept on peeking out of the leggings and T-shirts, so I bought waist warmers to wear around my belly. It was very comfortable and it just went well with my outfit. I still can use them, as they stretch.
