Si has booked to take me to Amsterdam for my birthday next month :D

I cant wait lol, always wanted to go but never been able to with Lewis etc. So my mam and MIL are going to watch him over 2 days so we can have a break :D Will miss him like a hole in the head mind!

Has anybody ever been? Were going on the boat the DFDS ones, and only spend 9-5 actually in Amsterdam but still really looking forward to it :D

Yes we went on Monday evening and came home Wednesday morning. Spent 11-4 in Amsterdam and the weather was shocking lol  There was thunder storms and the rain

It was a nice break, nice to get away and spend some time together. Prices were shocking though, everything is definitley overpriced!

I only just saw this and its a shame the weather was rubbish, when me and my bloke went for a long weekend (before my two youngest boys) we did the cheese and wine boat then stumbled through the town to get back to our hotel and I can easilly say it was one of my fave experiences as the atmosphere over there is great and the lights and culture is really friendly and welcomming...... definatly will go again sometime! Oh we are off to Holland in 2 weeks time but will only do a day trip into the Dam as I get all tetchy with the kids being close to the rivers edges
