Just this last couple of weeks Jenny has started with quite a stutter. It seems to be the first word of a sentence & its not all the time.

Any ideas anyone????

Cole had a stutter which came out of nowhere, he was a right chatterbox from early on and at about 2 1/2 he started stuttering, He did grow out of it but it was annoying for him.

If you want you could contact your HV and get a referral to the speech therapist - I didnt with Cole because he didnt do it all the time, so I thought he would learn to slow his speech more and therefore loose the stutter.

My sister had a stutter when she was younger - about 3/4 I think. It was always when she was trying to tell us something & she wanted to get it out so quickly she ended up stuttering. My mom just used to tell her to slow down & she eventually grew out of it, although she (my sis) did used to get quite angry & frustrated that she did it! She still talks really fast to this day though :lol:

I grew up with a girl who had a stutter from a young age and eventually she must of just outgrew it because she doesn't have a one now.
