Thanks Emma. I couldnt have done it without a step by step guide... although I was using a different version of the software so had a few glitches!! Going to try and make me own idea soon. Just try to work out how to feather a picture!??????

If you're stuck at what to do, try youtube. It's got some great tutorials on there & it's so much easier being able to see the person doing it rather than just following typed instructions

As for feathering. If you open up your pic, look down the sidebar on the left & there should be a tool that looks like a rectangle/square (can't remember! ) drawn in broken lines. If you right click on that it will bring up the circle one. Click on that & then a bar at the top should give you an option of feathering. Type in about 20 pixels (depending on how big your pic is really. You can try different sizes til you get it right) then click over the pic & drag until you get it the size you want. Then press copy & then paste it onto your siggy

Oh I forgot to say as well. The size for siggies on here should be no more than 450 pixels (wide) x 200 pixels (tall) & also they should be around 25000 bytes (bigger ones take longer to load for some people & slows the site down for some users)

If you right click on your siggy & then go to properties, it will tell you all this info.

When you come to save it on Photoshop, go to 'file' then scroll down the the bit that says 'Save for web & devices'. On the top right there will be a slider which lets you choose the 'quality' of the image. You can slide this to make it around 25000 bytes Then press 'done' at the bottom of your page & save it from there
